The Perfect Wildflower Garden
If you love the look of wildflower meadows and fancy one in the back garden, but you don’t know where to start, keep reading!
Last spring, we decided to plant wildflowers into a flowerbed in the front of the garden and the results were superb!
The Process
2. Next we prepared the flowerbed, which at the time was just muddy soil full of weeds. We had recently moved into a new house, so there was no previous landscaping or planting in the garden. We removed all the weeds and turned the soil with a shovel.
3. We then mixed the sand with the seed mixture.
4. Raked lightly.
5. Watered the whole area.
Germination occurred within 10 to 21 days. Trust us, you will be delighted with the outcome! We were so happy with how it looked, we will be dedicating another area of the back garden to wildflowers this year!
We’ll let you know the results!
