Ever Wonder What Wine They're Drinking In Your Favourite Show?

Peaky Blinders Wine

The MAHAH Team recently had the opportunity to enjoy a wine tasting afternoon in the summer sunshine in the South of France.. Tough job but someone’s got to do it!

The venue was the Bardet Vineyards located south of Saint-Emilion in an idyllic setting, on the banks of the river La Dordogne.

Wine production began at the Vineyard in 1704 and has continued up until the current day.

The Bardet family relies on experimentation and technological innovation to constantly improve the character and quality of its wines.

If you’re a Red Wine lover and a Peaky Blinders fan, the Vignobles Bardet Vineyard is the place for you!

Vignobles Bardet signed an official partnership with the hit TV show Peaky Blinders in recent years and created the only official wine of the Shelby Company Ltd.

Following a huge amount of research into the means of production of wine in the 1920’s, The Vignobles Bardet produced two wines used during the filming of the popular series.

The Vineyard also create their own Rosé Champagne which was a welcome treat at the end of a wander through the Vineyards.

We were hoping to catch a glimpse of Cillian Murphy or Tom Hardy enjoying a tipple, but it wasn’t to be!

The family run operation is a must visit if you’re in the region. More details can be found at www.vignoblesbardet.com
